Welcome to “Heaven on Earth”!

Welcome to what we consider to be… “heaven on earth”! Sunset Cottage is truly a home away from home! With all the conveniences and comforts you are used to but oh so close to places that make memories unforgettable! With stunning sunsets at our neighborhood pier to canals and “honey holes” where the fish seem to be calling your name around the clock! The beach may be what beacons you and it is only five minutes away across the Emerald Bridge. Or is it shopping in Morehead… or surfing the Atlantic Beach, or perhaps touring the charming Swansboro/Beaufort towns? One thing is for certain, you will never be bored in Cape Carteret… regardless of the season! You can curl up on the screened in porch with a good cup of coffee and a novel to read, or take a starlight walk through our wonderful little neighborhood where almost every street ends at the sea! Whether it is relaxation you need or some fun filled memories… Sunset Cottage is the place to be! Come and make yourself at home in our cozy “cottage in the woods” that is unique in charm, space, and convenience. Out of the rush of traffic and tourist… yet so close to all you desire! The neighbors are friendly and so is the town, so come and make yourself at home in our spacious four bedroom home (sleeps 10) that provides privacy and restoration! Our kitchen is fully stocked with some of my favorite gadgets, including the “Dolce Gusto” coffee/latte maker (may need to bring your own pods from Walmart). With dinning for 10 and a leather living room that affords atleast four recliners, no one will go without comfort! Did I mention the brand new flatscreen HDTV with Directv providing you endless entertainment? And Redbox is just across the street! Did someone say internet? Being the geek that I am, you can be sure this is provided along with our free telephone line where you can make calls anywhere within the United States. Oh… and then there is the “Bunk/Game Room”! A room to dazzle the most fun crowd of all ages. The bunk beds have a twin on top and a double on the bottom with a double futon providing your teens a cozy place to make memories. With their own TV and games galore, they won’t even rattle the knobs on your door! Check out the photos and see why we call… Sunset Cottage a home for us all!
